FAQs
Events
I want to host an event at Woodberry Kitchen. How do I get more information?
You’ll find information on Gatherings (our events business) and can download our packet and submit a request to book an event here. Or email events@woodberrykitchen.com.
____________
Tavern
Do I need a reservation to dine in the Tavern?
We take reservations on Resy and also keep some tables and bar seats open for walk-ins. Depending on the weather and our event schedule, on some nights we have additional seating on our covered terrace. You can always give us a call at 443-524-5097 to find out if the terrace is open, if there’s currently a wait, etc. Overall, we’re a cozy restaurant and we can’t guarantee there will be space, but we’ll do everything we can to get you in and if you have to wait, we’ll take care of you in the meantime.
How far in advance can I book?
Reservations open one month in advance of any given date.
Can I book a table for more than 6 people?
Yes! We don’t book large parties on Resy, but you can email askus@woodberrykitchen.com or call 443-524-5097 to inquire about larger group seating. On nights our Terrace is open, we have farm tables that can be reserved for larger groups or we can combine tables inside the Tavern.
Can I be put on a waitlist?
If reservations are unavailable at the time you’re looking for, click “Notify” on Resy. You’ll be able to specify when you’d like a reservation, and if someone cancels in that window, you’ll automatically get an email letting you know something opened up. At that point, it’ll be up to you whether or not you’d like to book the table.
Can I change the time or number of people in my reservation?
Yes, the best way to do this is directly through Resy. If you need further assistance, email askus@woodberrykitchen.com or call 443-524-5097.
I’m running late for my reservation. How do I let the staff know?
You can simply reply to the Resy confirmation text you received earlier in the day and our staff at the door will get the message. Or give us a ring at 443-524-5097.
Does your menu include gluten-free items?
Yes, a few, but we can’t guarantee no cross contamination. Our servers are knowledgeable about menu ingredients and can walk you through the options.
Does your menu include vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes, there are always a few vegetarian and/or vegan dishes.
Is everything on your menu organic?
Woodberry Kitchen sources food like no other restaurant. Instead of working with a commodity distributor, the vast majority of the ingredients that enter the Tavern and event kitchens come directly from small, regenerative farms (and independent fishermen) in our region. Most of the farms are using organic practices or going beyond organic to steward land and soil, although only a few are certified organic. Want to know where an ingredient in your dish came from? Ask. We can trace every single one straight back to the soil it grew in and the hands that harvested it. When we can’t get something locally, we buy directly from a regenerative producer we trust. You can read all about our approach to sourcing and our producers, here.
Why do you include a 20% service charge on your checks, and where does the money go? Should I tip on top of the service charge?
We are proud of our approach to compensation and lay out all the details of how it works, here.

Merchandise
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! You can purchase a digital gift card that is emailed to the recipient here. If you’d like a physical gift card with a pretty holder and an envelope, stop by the restaurant during dinner service on any night and a member of our team will be happy to sell you one. Our gift cards do not expire (as long as they’re not older than our current computer system). Gift card use is limited to one card per visit.
Do you sell Snake Oil?
Yes! We sell Snake Oil online and ship anywhere in the U.S. You can also purchase it during dinner service hours in the Tavern or during the day at Artifact Coffee, right down the street.

Donation Requests
Will you donate to my charity event?
We are proud of our engagement in the community, and we receive hundreds of requests for donations every year. As a result, we’re unable to respond to or honor every one. We do read every request that comes in and currently prioritize charitable giving to initiatives that focus on local and sustainable agriculture, the Chesapeake Bay, and Baltimore city schools and youth. If we are able to donate to your event, a member of our team will get back to you ASAP. Email your request to lisa@woodberrykitchen.com.
